Art Videos & Tips
'Speed Painting'
This is part one of my first 'speed paint' series. The painting was already in progress when filming started, so I'm sorry about that, but try to enjoy it anyway. Also, it's silent, so pick your own soundtrack if you must :)
This segment is roughly a bit more than an hour compressed into about five minutes. Rate it! Leave comments!
'Speed Sketch'
This was my first attempt at making a 'speed-art' video. I am sorry for the low quality of the video. This is something that I thought I'd give a go, and perhaps experiment with more in the near future.
I would also like to clear something up:
This is absolutely NOT at actual speed! This video is about 35 minutes sped up to make a three minute video.
The music in the vid is "photograph" by the Verve Pipe, and is Copyright ©The Verve Pipe and their respective publisher(s), and here's hoping they don't mind some free advertising!
Below is the finished sketch.
I think this video illustrates something that artists eventually should grow to embrace about themselves and their art;
and that is the fact that we are allowed to make changes to our art. We can at anytime change our minds on what it is we are creating, if what is on our paper/canvas isn't headed towards our original purpose.
Don't feel bad if it doesn't come out how you want it the first time! You can change it! You could start it over, on a fresh piece of paper! You can move on to another idea if your mind isn't in to the one you're working on!
